Trang Nguyen

Trang Nguyen has been a Senior Account Manager, contracting for Goldstar Medical Billing
Company since 2015. Prior to Goldstar, she obtained an Associate in Science Degree and held
various positions in Human Resources from 1997 to 2010, which empowered her with skills in
health insurance benefits, workers' compensation law, payroll law, and labor law.

In 2012, she shifted her career path to prioritize spending more time with her children and
began working at a chiropractic office. She started as a Front Desk Receptionist and was
promoted to Office Manager by the end of that year. During her time there, she attended
numerous seminars to deepen her knowledge of billing and healthcare compliance, ultimately
completing Dr. Mario Fucinari’s Medical Compliance Specialist Certification Bootcamp
Training—where she met Lisa Maciejewski-West, owner of GSMB.

Trang holds certifications as a Medical Compliance Specialist–Physician (MCS-P) and a
Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS). She serves on the National Advisory
Board for the American Medical Billing Association (AMBA). Most recently, she earned her
Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, further solidifying her expertise and
commitment to the healthcare field.
