We encourage you to browse through these pages to familiarize yourself with our speakers and educational tracks. Come ready with your questions and thoughts to share.

General Sessions

We'll kick off the weekend Friday with Dr. Dennis Marchiori, the current CEO and

Chancellor of Palmer College. He will share his message, "Connecting Purpose To

Passion - Chiropractic's Role in Healthcare. Dr. Marchiori presents ways that our

fundamental purpose to help patients live a healthier life is advanced through our

passion and commitment to provide the highest quality of conservative chiropractic

care in our clinical practices.

Next up -  a deep-dive into modern chiropractic marketing! If you've ever struggled with getting your brand and your messaging "just right,"  Dr. Kevin Christie will present new concepts and strategies sure to jumpstart your practice. Learn how to reach your clearly-defined audience with a strategic plan using modern distribution channels. After the session, you will automate, delegate and optimize your practice's marketing.

Friday's final General Session features Dr. Dan Weinert, Provost for Palmer College. He will be presenting on the topic "Gut Microbiota in Health and Disease". The gut represents our largest interface with the external environment. Learn how the gut interface functions and how factors such as prebiotics, probiotics, drugs, and artificial sweeteners promote either health or disease.

We've got a real treat for you on Saturday. Have you seen the new "Top Gun" movie?

Saturday morning features John Ramstead, a former U.S. Navy F-14 pilot, now an

internationally known leadership expert, author and podcast host (to name a few of

his roles). This Top Gun's career stayed the course thanks to chiropractic care he

received while serving our country as a pilot for the U.S. Navy.  No stranger to

setbacks, he has overcome adversity to grow stronger in his purpose and passion

and is eager to share what he has learned to help you re-connect to your purpose and passion.

Sunday morning, wake up to a "breakfast and learn" General Session, and earn a board-mandated CE hour in the process. Julie Oates, LPCC-S, RPT-S, will present "Trauma Informed Care."

One of the best ways to avoid claim denials is to document defensibly, and to prove that your treatment was undeniably a medical necessity. On Sunday, Dr. Mario Fucinari will define what exactly is medical necessity in any type of clinical case and clarify the components of documentation required. Dr. Fucinari is a certified compliance officer and seasoned practitioner of 35 years, will teach you how to incorporate the latest compliance developments into your practice without giving up your chiropractic roots.

Although research may not exactly be your "cup of tea," there's no denying that what is learned affects your practice. Dr. Dean Smith concludes the convention with a look at what's new in chiropractic research as well as practical steps to implement research into your practice. A variety of emerging outcome measures related to motor/postural control, human performance and pain - from high tech to low tech implementation - will be discussed.
