Program Information

First Presentation Title: Build a Better Brain (9-11am)

Summary: Fatigue, brain fog, achy joints, coated tongue, and irritability are just a few symptoms that a patient’s gut is leaking. This course covers the latest research on the gut microbiome, its implications in nervous system disruption, and how to restore balance. Learn how to test for gut imbalances, then create a comprehensive program that includes treatments in-office, and protocols for in-home to ensure long-term success.

Learning Objectives:

  • Modern Stressors on the human brain [25 min]

    • Physical Stressors: WiFi, Screens and the dopamine overload, sports, MVAs

    • Emotional Stressors: television programming, news, schedule overload, frantically-paced daily life

    • Time: the universal leveler

    • Nutritional issues: excitotoxins and the biochemical concussion

  • EMF and brain issues [25 min]

    • The calcium ion connection

    • The EMF concussion

    • Tumor development

  • Municipal water supplies [20 min]

    • Finding the toxic load in your water

    • How to protect yourself

    • Testing:

      • Hair analysis

      • Gut analysis

  • Slowing and reversing brain degeneration [40 min]

    • The Bredeson Protocol

    • Supplements

    • Leaky gut implications

    • Low level laser protocols to protect the brain

    • Meditation strategies to lengthen DNA telomeres

    • EMF protection strategies

Second Presentation Title: The Enteric Nervous System: Our “Other” Brain (11:20-1pm)

Summary: The human brain is under a constant barrage of stressors never before incurred in the history of mankind. From electromagnetic frequencies to viruses, cellular radiation to pesticides, heavy metal exposure to toxic municipal water supplies, our brains and bodies are enduring an unfathomable burden. This course covers mechanisms of brain degeneration, from leaky gut to epigenetics to calcium ion overload, and what can be done about it. This course also discusses implications of chronic stress, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, sleep issues, and hands-on laser protocols for brain restoration. Lastly, nutrition and intermittent fasting implications on brain health and longevity will be tied into the overall clinical outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Common symptoms of enteric nervous system problems [10 min]

  • Leaky Gut  [25 min]

    • Differentiating leaky gut from microbiome imbalance

    • Clinical testing

    • Gut-brain axis

  • Lectins  [25 min]

    • Using nutritional strategies to avoid lectin-containing foods

    • Understanding the zonulin locking system in the gut and blood brain barrier

  • Gut Microbiome imbalances [25 min]

    • Which microbes are present, pathogenic or protective

    • Relative deficiencies of protective microbes versus actual deficiencies

    • Pathogenic bacteria and biofilms: how to overcome the imbalanced gut

  • Creating a comprehensive program to seal the gut in order to heal the gut [25 min]
